Terac uses a hierarchical structure to organize research activities.
Organizations
Researchers can create multiple organizations to manage work across
different institutions. Access can be shared, allowing multiple
collaborators to create, edit, and launch projects and campaigns.
Projects
Each organization contains projects that represent specific research
objectives or studies.
Campaigns
Within projects, researchers create campaigns that generate deployable
interview links for participant data collection.
To create an organization, click “[Your Name]‘s Organization” at the top left hand of the screen and select “New Organization”. Name your organization to your preferences.
To create a campaign, import an existing survey, upload visual/audio stimuli, change the interview mode (structured vs. conversational), and/or interface with the discussion guide chat to make an interview from scratch. You’ll see a sidebar pop up on the right, allowing you to add, delete, and edit questions/sections to your liking.
To publish your campaign, you must create a discussion guide first. After doing so, click the “Publish” tab. You can test your interview before deploying it, copy the link to the real interview, and source participants by publicly listing your survey or using Terac internal sourcing.
To analyze insights, click the “Analyze” tab to interface with the chat and ask questions about what your interviewees said. To view individual responses on a question-by-question level, click the “Interviews” tab.
